Emirates decided  bring the Airbus A380   to São Paulo on a single flight to celebrate  8th anniversary of the company operating in Brazil, when in October 2007 it started  with flights Dubai -SãoPaulo -Dubai.

Emirates too  is a global partner of Formula 1, made  this flight coincided with  with the Brazilian Grand Prix, which took place  on November 15 at the Circuito de Interlagos.

Furthermore,  has became  the first regular flight of a  Airbus A380 transporting passengers on a regular flight to Brazil and the superjumbo's third visit to the country.

A huge crowd of people,  aviation lovers, curious and photographers  accompanied the arrival of the superjumbo in Guarulhos, São Paulo.   After landing, everyone applauded and marveled at  the traditional baptism of the aircraft when the plane  joined  at the passenger terminal.

The aircraft that performed the flight  it was the  A6-EON record, is the  A380  most recently delivered Airbus A380 fleet on Emirates.

Emirates has a total of 67 Airbus A380s in the fleet with orders pending for a further 73.
