Domingo Aéreo in São Paulo receives 100,000 visitors

Public aircraft passage on Domingo Aéreo in São Paulo Soldado Rocha / COMAR IV hunting and transport of the Air Force, launching of paratroopers and exhibition of military, civil and experimental aircraft. These were some of the attractions that took the more than 100 thousand people from São Paulo to the Aeronautical Material Park of São Paulo (PAMA-SP), on Sunday (28/9).

Admirers of Brazilian military aviation were able to check out the exhibition of the C-105 Amazonas, C-98 Caravan, C-95 Bandeirante, P-95 Bandeirulha, Super Puma and A-29 aircraft from the Fumaça Squadron. A replica of the Demoiselle, an aircraft created by Alberto Santos Dumont, also attracted the event's audience, in addition to the booths of the Aeronautics Specialists School (EEAR), Air Cadet Preparatory School (EPCAR), Air Force Academy (AFA), Technological Institute of Aeronautics (ITA) and Flight Protection Service of São Paulo (SRPV-SP).

Banker Fábio Ganeo, 41, visits the event in São Paulo every year. "I don't miss Domingo Aéreo for anything. This contact with aviation only increases my admiration for the Smoke Squadron and for the work of the Air Force, and it is already a tradition here in São Paulo," stated Ganeo.

Planting and distribution workshops for various seedlings offered by the Verdejando Project  were one of the highlights of the event. "We took advantage of the success of this event to maintain contact with the population of São Paulo and also 'green asphalt' our city", recalls Major Brigadier Marcelo Kanitz Damasceno, Commander of IV COMAR, responsible for organizing the event.
